Come to VINTAGE BAR, FRIDAY 23 MAY, for the third installment of EMPRESS SOUNDS - a night showcasing Aotearoa's finest Sound-Sistren!  This time featuring very special guests - THE WAXED COLLECTIVE - alongside Empress residents - SISTAH SISTAH!

THE WAXED COLLECTIVE - AYESHA & PHAZE - have recently relocated to Welly.  Seasoned selectors, they established in 2004 to help counter the lack of representation of women in music and have since gone from strength to strength.  The crew is multi-skilled and experienced in all aspects of the music industry, being fundamental players in the Reggae and Hip-Hop event, radio and promotion scenes.  Come check them make the dance go ram!

Alongside SISTAH SISTAH - MISTEEK & JHAN - fresh from their last performance at Empress Sounds Session Two, they return bringing only the tuffest Roots and Dancehall tunes alongside their own original works!

Also with the some of Welly's best Dancehall Queens hotting up the dancefloor!

Entry is $10 with EMPRESS SOUNDS MIX-CD, $5 without.
