Half Pint was born in West Kingston and after completing his secondary school education in 1976, began his music career, touring Jamaica with various sounds such as Black Scorpio, Jammys, Gemini, Lee's Unlimited and Killimanjaro. Building up a reputation, he then began to work with many renowned artists and producers including King Jammy; Sly and Robbie; Bobby "Digital" Dixon, Garnett Silk, Tony Rebel and The Tamlins. Through the 80's and 90's Half Pint released numerous singles and albums and continues to record and perform today. This track was released in 2001 and was produced by King Jammy.
Born Jephter McClymount and renamed Luciano for his near operatic vocal gifts, Luciano began his musical career singing in church and later moved to Kingston to pursue music professionally. After a first stint in the music industry, he took a break, returning with more determination and depth. In 1995 Luciano began working with the Xterminator label and has since gone from strength to strength. This track is on the Oneness riddim, released in 2007, out on Oneness Records.
