Tayo & Acid Rockers ft. Pupajim - Vampayaa - Scrub A Dub
Tayo, an accomplished dub producer and champion DJ has returned to the controls in fine style in recent months delivering a fresh palette of dubwise pressure collaborating with vocalist Pupajim.
Vampayaa is a top production and one of Tayo's freshest and finest cuts i've heard to date. It's a classic stepper that rolls along some serious low-end pressure as the immersive vocals from Pupajim give the tune that timeless lyrical depth and quality.
The Starkey Remix dives in to mad wonky experimental territory but somehow manages to retain the reggae infused vibe of the original with a signature Starkey swagga. Both versions are pure fiyah and it's great to see Tayo staying true to his dubby roots but pushing his sound into new and interesting directions.
You should expect to see this tune on the shelves in July on Mungos Hi Fi's label Scrub A Dub. The release will also contain a version featuring the vocal talents of Rod Azlan. Expect to see more Dubwise beats coming from this bad boy producer this year.
