Real n' Raw soundtrack (2009)

Jah Bless This Love, sung by Auckland based roots artists, The Solomonix, and produced by Iron Will, was released last year on the soundtrack to the film Real n' Raw. The soundtrack features two Solomonix tracks, Jah Bless This Love and In The Garden, amongst other tunes by local and international artists.

These tunes are possibly the only two songs currently available (for purchase) by The Solomonix and producer Iron Will, but are definitely a sign of things to come for roots reality music in Aotearoa.

The Solomonix vocal duo and Iron Will have worked together for quite a few years and have a well-refined sound reminiscent of 70s and 80s heavyweight roots and early dancehall. Jah Bless This Love showcases a straight hard and uncompromising rockers style production from Iron Will, and sweet, yet tough, vocals delivered by Sole, alongside harmonies by fellow Solomonix singer Patsy.

Some New Zealand audiences may have been lucky enough to catch the Solomonix perform their set live with Iron Will, who together have made a lot of tunes over the years, leaving more than anything, strong anticipation of more releases...Go The Solomonix!!
